Meet Emma, an absolute expert in marketing with over 30 years experience.
When I received Emma’s first email I visited her website to find out more about her, that is what I normally do, I merrily stalk my prospective clients. I found out that Gin and Tonic is her favourite drink and that she has a dog called Sergei but I couldn’t find out how she looked, what kind of style she liked or what kind of woman she is. Photographs of the business owner creates a trust factor.
Emma and I met up for a chat and she showed keen interest in a personal brand photoshoot to replace the stock images on her website and for use in blog posts.
I give my clients a little bit of homework to do before the shoot. Emma was an absolute star. She prepared a Pinterest board which gave me an idea what sort of images she likes. She even got her own mugs and notebook branded for the photoshoot. We were able to create a variety of images due to the different locations and outfits Emma chose.
”…From being nervous and about as far out of my comfort zone as I get (so far!) in developing my business, I ended up having a great time and a few shots I saw – I know the finished result is going to be exactly what we set out to achieve.
A big thank you to Nadja Litau for completely and quickly understanding me and my brand and her recommendations to achieve the right type of photos. Equally importantly she made the whole experience so much fun and quickly put me at ease.” – Emma Mills
I know being in front of the camera can be quite daunting like it was for Emma but stepping out of her comfort zone made her more confident about herself and her business. If you would like to know more about my personal brand photography but you still not sure and feel camera shy, let’s just have a chat and get to know each other first.
And just because they are so cute, here are a couple more of Emma and her dog Sergei, who wanted nothing more then to go in the water and fetch some sticks.
Here are some examples for where you can use your personal brand images.
