I can’t remember when I last sat down and put a blog post together. I’ve been meaning to share these personal brand photos of Dian in a blog for a long time now. She has put an incredible amount of thought and preparation into this, which you can see in the content we produced together; It really would be a shame not to share.
This was our second shoot in Frome, where Dian and her business Dian Samweys Garden Design is based. Not only was I happy to be working with Dian and her creative mind again but also was looking forward to visiting the picturesque town.
Our second shoot was slightly different from the first business photoshoot. The first time we had 3 different locations planned, on a day that seemed to be the hottest day of the year. We started in her beautiful office at The Welshmill Hub, a shared office space. After a short break we explored the stunning Walled Garden at Mells, which you probably can imagine offered an abundance of outstanding backgrounds for a garden designer. And of course, we had to feature the cobble streets of Frome in Dian’s brand images. Oh, there was actually a 4th location, a cornfield where we created some sunset shots. You can see Dians’ first shoot here.
For our second Personal Brand photoshoot, Dian found a villa not far from Frome that she was able to use for the day. This place had an incredible amount of different indoor and outdoor setting. She also wanted to get her team of freelancers involved and show that she can provide a full-on service and support for her clients. The main goal was to create a library of personlised content images not just of Dian and her team but also images of plants and textures she could use as background on her Instagram posts, stories and website, but see for yourself.
Diane brought a great amount of props we used through out the shoot and incorporateed different textures of the house as background. We wanted to create cozy, moody and earthy personal brand images and provoke quiet and calm feelings in her audience. These are the feelings Diane tries to create with her gardens, a place where people want to relax, find stillness and joy: she calls them The Zen Moments.
And of course, we captured Diane and her trusted team of freelancers working together and individually. Personal brand photography is a great tool to take your prospective clients on a journey so they can see how it might be working with you.
Having the shoot in one spot we saved time and could create some single video snippets for Diane to use on her website or to use as content on social media.
This is only a small amount of images from Dian’s personalised brand gallery. I absolutely enjoy following her account and seeing her using the images almost every day in different ways. You see personal brand photography is not just about producing beautiful lifestyle headshots of you but creating purposeful content which saves you time and stress and captivates your prospective clients attention.
