Easter is over and of course I had too much chocolate and too many Hot Cross Buns over the past 4 days. I also ate more meat than usual and I can feel my body needs a break. Now might be a good time to try all the vegetarian dishes I saved on Pinterest. 😀
Before the Easter holiday I did a lifestyle/ personal brand photo shoot with the absolutely amazing Imogen Wood. Imogen is an incredible artist, she specialises in dog illustrations but her talent is so versatile and on her Instagram @imogenwoodillustrations you will find a mix of lifestyle photographs and lots of other incredible artwork.
A few weeks before the shoot we met at a coffee shop and had a great chat about her business and the big “Why” and I got to meet Imogen’s dog too. He got lots of scratches and cuddles from everyone in the coffee shop; no wonder, he is just adorable .
I either meet my clients in person or do a skype call to get to know them and their brand story, so we don’t waste any time on the shoot day.
We started slowly with a cup of coffee and continued having more and more coffee throughout the shoot. Imogen showed me her Christmas present, an automatic milk frother I was so impressed, it is on my wish list already.
My personal brand sessions are a mix of lifestyle photography and non-traditional headshots.
I spent a good three hours with Imogen capturing her personality, what she does and where she gets her inspiration from. These photographs are perfect to start a conversation with your social media audience.
I make sure to capture details that can work perfectly on your website or in your newsletters.
I fell absolutely in love with Imogen’s wardrobe. She has lots of golden, sparkly and interesting unique pieces and we used quite a lot of different outfits. Be yourself!
After we shot lots and lots of different images inside we went outdoors just in front of the house. We found beautiful little spots which worked perfectly and we got great summery photographs.
Spring is a great time for a photoshoot.
Look at the beautiful blossoms behind Imogen and the light is so soft and flattering.
Southampton offers a lot of interesting and different backdrops. So we carried on further down town to The Pig In The Wall and explored the medieval houses just around the corner.
If you are a creative entrepreneur, a blogger or run your own business and you would like photographs which can take your business to the next level , then you can find more information about my personal brand photoshoots here.
Look forward hearing from you and I am always up for a coffee 😉
