With all the different social media platforms we constantly have to create content. But your visual content shouldn’t be just all about your products or your services. Make sure you tell people your story, share a bit about yourself and show some behind the scenes stuff. The best option to save time when photographing content for social media is to do it in bulk. Whether you have a professional personal brand photoshoot booked or a friend with a good camera helps you; the following questions might help you to think about fresh lifestyle content you can share with your audience.
What books inspire you?
When planning a shoot I always encourage my clients to think about content which is more than their work routine. Books are really good content to share with your audience as it is something personal but not private. Ask for recommendation and your engagement will jump up the roof.
Where do you feel most comfortable?
Sharing your happy place with your audience is another amazing ice breaker. Open up to your audience and they will open up to you. Tell them why you love this place and why it is so special to you. People love to hear stories.
Which products do you use on a daily basis?
We love to see behind the scenes images. Share with your audience how you create your wonderful products. Show them a step by step process, explain what product, apps or other gadgets you need to use to achieve the results.
But you can share more than just the products you use for your business. Depends on your audience you can share any other products your followers enjoy reading about.
What do you enjoy doing just for yourself?
Burn-out is a big topic on social media so why not share your self care routine. Do you take some time out and go for walks on the beach? Is sport your thing where you relax most? Do you have a cup of coffee with a book every day? What ever it is why don’t share it with your audience and ask them what they do in stress situation and if they take enough time for themselves?
