Shots of you looking into the camera create trust by inviting the viewer to make eye contact, so it is important to have at least one of these images on your website and social media. Candid shots on the other hand, showing you with your products or simply in your day-to-day work flow, make great regular content for your social media because your viewers can relate to them and are intrigued to see more.
Firstly you should know what feelings you want to provoke with your personal brand and content photographs.
Do you want them to be light and airy, warm and inviting, dark and moody, colourful and playful? Your personal brand photographer needs to know what mood you want to achieve. A good exercise is to write down 10 adjectives that reflect your brand personality.
Change up your pose just slightly every time you hear the camera. Move the hand a little bit more up, brush your hair out of your face, look to the side, change your hands again, lean a bit forward… your personal brand photographer will tell you when to hold a pose. See yourself as a Model and not the subject. Again, relax and have fun.
“I loved my shoot with Nadja. I felt completely at ease in her presence, which is a rare thing for me, as I don’t consider myself to be very photogenic. Nadja Is very approachable and works with you to make sure you have the best experience before, during and after the shoot. Apart from the excellent service she provided, I absolutely love the way my photographs came out. I highly recommend booking Nadja for your shoot.” Gia Lili – Love Coach
